Transformation. Transformation to return to the glory one once had. Transformation needed Matt to be open-minded and present. Transformation led to a gain of strength, but a loss in stability. Transformation influenced by feelings of being trapped, unable to be misunderstood without being judged. Transformation, literally carving one’s figure, to persistently move towards one’s desire, their power, and their destiny. Transformation in response to the perceived disrespect of those closest to him. Transformation to avoid what was confusing, painful, and overwhelming and gain peace. Transformation from difficult wounds, throwing Matt off his path, to losing his dignity and foundation. Transformation to tend wounds, urgently and in a rush, leading to a new foundation.

Wicker and Clayface show multiple facets of transformation, some obvious and some more subtle. Whether it’s physical shape shifting, creating new life, or characterization, almost every major character has a shift from one perspective, one understanding, to another. As they say “change is the only constant”, and in this case, I would argue transformation is timeless. For some, transformation is one’s truth, one’s power, one’s healing. For others, transformation is one’s purpose, one’s choice, one’s view of justice. And then there’s those who view transformation as a beacon for freedom, for peace, for hope. No matter where you fall, I challenge you to ask what transformation look like to you, carry how you have transformed proudly, and explore new ways to transform.

Story

I very recently just completed a 10 month program with Vasudhaa Ahuja through . I came in unsure if I still wanted to do Spectrum of Spirit, what I was doing with Spectrum of Spirit, and unsure what is next for me as I navigate young adulthood. I still am not 100% sure if I want to continue Spectrum of Spirit, what the plan is going forward, or what exactly is next for me in my young career. What Happy Turtling and Vasu gave me was tools. Tools to bring awareness to the limiting beliefs I had created in the past. Tools to build confidence in my own decision making capacity. Tools to transform the unrecognized thoughts in my brain that I can guide to affirm my self-worth.

Transformation. The sacred honoring of my own worth through trouble, tenderness, tutelage toward my own well-being. Transformation is my foundation. When I affirm my worth through tribulation, termination, and sustenance, I restore my spiritual architecture. This wisdom roots me in my dignity and rebuilds my inner sanctuary.
