What If a Bonsai Tree Fully Bloomed?

Flowers are quite fascinating. I would not have always said this, for I have only recently been trying to embrace all sides of me, and flowers are typically associated with femininity. Anyways, flowers are everything I think we wish humans were to each other. Admirable beauty, tranquil stability, and generous care given to their neighbors. Though some flowers are dangerous and destructive, most of the ones that are, are misplaced, removed from their home, and considered invasive when they have to create their own resources outside of their ecosystem. Sounds relatable to a commonly discussed issues nowadays, but this is not an immigration blog lol.

I believe flowers are sacred, sacred in the way they can impose a sense of awe amongst a viewer. With possible colors, shapes, and forms that an audience has not seen before, the foreign flower becomes special, set apart, maybe even out of this world.

A couple months ago, I went to a religious service where flowers were used to commemorate new beginnings, as the congregation gave each of their flowers to be combined as a whole. These flowers now rest near the windows of the sanctuary, receiving light and water to shine, sometimes, brighter than the sun itself.

The Bonsai Tree, though not a flower, is a beautiful plant, uniquely crafted through root pruning, branch trimming and wiring, to shape its growth. Following different Reddit threads, it’s cool to see how others have been able to cultivate their unique designs of a Bonsai Tree.

The patience personified is a quality I can continue to grow in as a builder.

The intention illustrated is a quality I can continue to grow in as I try to see all the possibilities in my chaos.

The care cultivated is a characteristic I don’t know I will ever get to, but my admiration for the Bonsai has led me to look at the Creator with new eyes.

If the Bonsai Tree fully bloomed, completely blossomed, in all respects became a flower, it might turn back the hands of time. It may bring a sense of calm amidst the chaos. J. Cole may even say it can bring antagonized allies together (the clean version lol).

P.S Journal Entry

I am supposed to grow,

Why am I not growing?

Or am I growing?

Maybe I am growing.

But the flowers around me are flaunting their colors.

Where are my colors?

Matter of fact,

Where are my petals?

Flowers around me seem to be talking about me. Saying they don’t know why I’m here, where do I fit in with every other flower, who let me in to their garden, etc.

But maybe I’m just in my head.

Who knows if the other flowers are even speaking about me. I just know that I don’t feel comfy around their bright and vibrant energy. They seem to see all the beauty they were planted with. Enjoying the care of bees and other insects,

While no one is around me,

No one wants to join me,

No one comes near.

At least, that’s how I feel.

But maybe I am coming close to blooming.

I feel the wires weakening their grip around some of my branches patiently. The small pot that I’m in may have felt like a hinderance before, but I have intentionally extended my roots,

I can feel the energy carefully bubbling below the depths.
